Every Thursday, I try to bring a little bit of wisdom, of humor, of random neural firings, and of things you can act on for your nonprofit direct marketing.
But this week, I wasn’t going to do any better than a couple of my colleagues, so I must cede the floor:
- Kevin Schulman’s take-down of a one-size-fits-all approach to communications has compelling data and will have you rethinking whether a welcome series (for example) should be a yes/no proposition.
- Charlie Hulme’s SOFII piece talks about results that should be amazing — halving donor bleed, 70% increases in revenue per donor, 12 point increases in sustainer retention — but have actually happened based on three simple pieces of data
