Contribute To This List … And Help Yourself
The Agitator and DonorVoice have chosen the 50 organizations to be included in our 2nd Annual National Donor Commitment Study. This is a large survey of active U.S. donors in the acquisition market to determine which organizations and charitable sectors have the highest — and lowest — Donor Commitment Scores.
The results will be published on November 15thand explained in a 45 minute public briefing.
Donor Commitment Scores indicate whether an organization has high, low or average commitment among active donors who contribute to it. ‘High’ commitment means higher value. Almost 2.5 times more than a ‘Low’ commitment donor.
Most importantly a “High” score means the organization itself is taking good Donor Relationship Actions and producing higher lifetime value. The score is not is a proxy for revenue, market share or superficial name recognition.

And If You Want to Help Yourself
In addition to the national sample we are inviting organizations who want to learn far more about their donors and what actions improve commitment to include a sample of their house file donors in a parallel, private and confidential study.
The details of this parallel study, what your involvement means and what we need from you, can be found by clicking here.
Thanks for your help and we’ll keep you posted.

P.S. If you want to see the organizations that were included in last year’s national sample and the results just click here.
I would include Plan (or at least Plan UK). I’m consisently impressed by their innovative approach to supporter acquisition and I would imagine their commitment scores would be above average as a result.
A potential paragon for you to case study.
