Do You Have The Winning Nonprofit Video?
For several years The Agitator has been happy to applaud the annual winners of the DoGooder Video Awards, a project of Nonprofit Technology Network (NTEN), See3 and YouTube.
This year’s contest is underway, with submissions due here by February 8.
The categories (for individual video-makers and nonprofits) are:
- Best Nonprofit Video — best overall video from a nonprofit
- Funny for Good — best video using humor to do good
- DoGooder YouTube Creator for Good — best YouTube creator using their skills to advance a nonprofit or social cause
And the top award from my perspective:
- Impactx Award — video with essay that best establishes its impact
It’s great to make attention-getting videos, but after all, we’re looking for measurable impact, aren’t we?
Once the entry window closes, a panel of judges will select four finalists for the first three categories listed above, whilst the DoGooder team selects the finalists for the Impactx Award. Videos are viewable on the competition website. Public voting runs from February 17 to March 3. In 2014, nearly 4,500 votes were cast. Here are the FAQs with full details regarding submissions.

Go for it!
