The Chronicle of Philanthropy just released its latest annual survey of the largest 176 US nonprofits regarding their online fundraising.
Apparently they asked respondents to identify their favorite "blog about the nonprofit world" and — we’re pleased to report — according to this "word cloud" report, The Agitator ranks as most popular!
Granted, it’s a relatively small sample, but hey, we’ll soak up any praise we get!

P.S. BTW, there’s lots of important online fundraising info in the Chron survey (subscription required) and its related stories. The #1 online fundraiser was the American Cancer Society, which raised $114 million online, representing 13% of its total contributions. Overall, for the 115 groups giving both 2008 and 2009 data, online giving was up 5% to $721 million, while overall given dropped by a median 9%.
