The Big Reveal
Sorry … I should not have teased you in yesterday’s post … The Donor You Don’t Know. [That said, the examples I gave were for real.]
The tools I described that can give you a look at your donors’ actual giving to other organizations — and tell you how much you’re leaving on the table — have been developed by DonorTrends, parent of The Agitator.
Here are three actions readers can take immediately to find out more or get started:
1. Download a sample Giving Analysis Profile (GAP) Report. This report quickly allows you to evaluate how your organization is doing compared to others. It is provided free of charge so organizations can satisfy themselves as to the value in the data.
2. Contact Corky for more information: cmiller@donortrends.com or 1.866.948.9363.
3. Ready to get started? Click to upload your donorfile and your free GAP report will be available for your review within ten business days.
Honestly, I think you’ll be impressed.
Tom
You might have mentionned that the data is only good for the United States.
Well, well! The comment I just made on Tom’s Agitator post of yesterday surely indicates that I’m running a day or so behind the rest of the world! (I’m trying hard to catch up!)
And I thought I was being such a smart aleck by announcing in that comment that Tom was too bashful to admit yesterday that the tools to which he was referring yesterday were the ones offered by DonorTrends.
Why did I know that? Probably because, as an advancement/fund-raising counsel, I tend to be incredibly curious about and always watchful for the kinds of services out there that I might bring to my clients’ support.
In addition, I had the opportunity yesterday to attend an excellent DonorTrends webinar for consultants to brief them on the array of services Tom was describing yesterday in his Agitator post.
I might have known he would do the “reveal” today. But I messed up! Sorry, Tom!
