Which Test Won?

March 4, 2011      Admin

Which Test Won? is a nifty e-newsletter that features results of a variety of head-to-head tests in the online arena — homepage design, copy tests, offer tests, social marketing, etc.

They recently announced their first batch of ‘winners’ from a group of tests supplied by over 100 marketers. What you’ll see when you click here is a series of categories, usually with a first and second place winner (i.e., an entry the judges thought was a particularly well-conceived test).

As the reader, you are given the chance to ‘vote’ for the version of each test that you think won in real life — that is, produced the best measured response. Then you’re given the actual hard results from each A/B version, along with the judge’s commentary on why they think that version produced better results. Were you right? Some of the winning versions might surprise you. The hard data speaks for itself; but I didn’t always agree with the judges’ analysis.

I really like this concept and the way it’s presented by Which Test Won?

However, in this batch, only one nonprofit entry was featured … a social marketing test submitted by the Democratic National Committee (DNC).

I’d love to see more nonprofits enter. Even better, I’d love to see something like this specifically dedicated to showing off nonprofits’ tests in this engaging manner.

  1. Hi Tom — Thanks so much for mentioning WhichTestWon.com to your readers! We’d certainly LOVE to get more nonprofit tests up on our site, but are having some trouble getting nonprofits to share tests with us.

What’s the best way to make that happen? Do you know of any nonprofits that are doing a lot of testing that might be willing to share tests?

If you’ve got a test to share please email me at NatalieT(at)whichtestwon(dot)com.
